Radmin CS 3.0 Instant Messaging Tool - Text Chat
Text Chat enables users to exchange text messages
in real time. The number of participants is unlimited, so you
can initiate enterprise-wide meetings, conferences and
debates.
Right along with massively populated discussions, you can perform private chats. This is very useful in many situations. An example is a tutor who needs to teach her students how to use new software; another is a helpdesk specialist helping a user troubleshoot a problem; a third example is a professional needing to ask a colleague where to find a file. You can invite other users to join your discussion if needed.
Radmin Communication Server lets you create multiple public and/or private channels. You can specify colors for your messages and have automatic away-from-system notices. Message log view options include showing or hiding the speaker's name and message arrival time, specifying custom fonts, text colors and text sizes. Text Chat also offers a command syntax for advanced users.
When connecting to a server all users automatically join the General channel. From the General channel, users can create multiple public and private channels. Channels may be freely entered or protected with a password.
The user who creates a new channel is granted Operator status. The operator can moderate the channel by changing a password, giving read-only status to certain users, etc. This allows discussions to be guided by a manager, team leader or executive.
Secure private chat between two users is also possible.
